Less than a year ago, local mobile network operators were boldly stating that third-generation (3G) networks were still four to five years from becoming a reality in SA. Yet today, we already have three such networks operational (courtesy of Sentech, WBS and Vodacom), with MTN and others set to follow shortly. So what has changed?
