Kenya's Safaricom eyes 5.5 mln subscribers by '07

Kenya’s Safaricom expects its mobile subscriber base to hit as many as 5.5 million by the end of 2007 while it focuses on expanding its network in rural areas, CEO Michael Joseph said on Friday.
