Celtel acquires 65% of Vmobile Nigeria for USD 1 billion

Lagos – Nigeria. Kuwait-based global mobile operator MTC’s African subsidiary Celtel International concluded a transaction to acquire a controlling stake of 65 percent in Nigerian mobile operator Vmobile for USD 1.005 billion.
