Millicom Gets Chad GSM License

Millicom International Cellular S.A. (“Millicom”) (Nasdaq Stock Market: MICC, Stockholmsborsen and Luxembourg Stock Exchange: MIC), announces that it has won a tender for a 10 year license to operate a GSM 900 wireless telephony network in the Republic of Chad, Central Africa. The license terms and conditions will be finalized in negotiations with the regulator in the coming months.
