MTN Group's combined subscribers exceed 31 million

The MTN Group is pleased to announce continued strong growth for the six-month period ended 30 June 2006, recording 31,5 million subscribers when including 6,14 million Investcom subscribers. The MTN Group has separately announced Investcom’s results on SENS for the six months to 30 June 2006. The Investcom transaction was concluded in July 2006.
