Celtel Nigeria charges flat tariff across networks

Celtel Nigeria has taken a bold step aimed at eliminating tariff discrimination in Nigeria by launching a new tariff plan called Flat Unity Tariffs plan that eliminates price discrimination across networks by providing the same rates across all networks in the country. Launching the new tariff plan in Lagos yesterday, the CEO of Celtel, Mr Bayo Ligali stated that the new tariff plan eliminates the prospect of subscribers moving from one network to another. According to him, “subscribers do not have to go from one network to another, with Celtel you can have a good and compatible rate across all networks”. He stated.

  2. I just read about the 3G Licence that Celtel has just procured. This is really what I have been looking forward to because I have Nec phone that has a lot of features that would not work until 3G service is supported by the network in use.
