Cellular service provider, Kasapa, has announced plans to embark on a gradual but strategic expansion of its network to enable more people to benefit from its services.

Speaking at a ceremony to reward the Twenty-Thousandth customer of the network, the Managing Director of the company, Bob Palitz said the expansion programme will be undertaken in a manner which will not endanger the financial position of the company.

Mr. Palitz told JOY Business Report that the company is negotiating with other cellular networks to share their cell sites and transmission equipment, in order to reduce the entire cost of the expansion programme.

He said from a low customer base, Kasapa can now boasts of about 23,000 customers.

He said the company is looking forward to attracting a considerable number of customers when the expansion programme is completed.

The award recipient, Adams Appiah lauded the company’s management for introducing a cheaper cellular network, which has improved the businesses of many small and medium scale enterprises.

  1. I think Joseph Okine is one of the stupid people who go online and insult people by heart. I am no fan of Kasapa but the moral degeneration being pursued by stupid people like Okine is just what is giving Ghana a bad name. What is Kasapa stupid. Instead of you to explain you just make yourself stupid to the whole world. I am not surprised. We know your like.
