   Hi Jill, my name is Anne Powell , before my marrige I was Bola Ajao, daughter of Chief M.A Ajao, I am mixed race english and nigerian. Unfourtunatly I have lost touch with the whole family., but used to be very close to my cousins Dirran and Dappo as we would spend most summer holidays with their parents in london. Im wondering if you are in fact Dirrans wife ,as he studied in Iowa and had a girfriend called Jill whilst studying.

   Diepreye Alamieyeseigha is not the first governor to be impeached in Nigeria. The first to be impeached is Governor Balarabe Musa of Kaduna state in 1981.

   Just googled my name and yours came up too. I am interested in knowing if you are related to my husband as he comes from a large Nigerian family – descendents of Chief Joseph Adediran Ajao. I read some of your personal journal entries – enjoyed them, enjoyed hearing more about Nigeria from which my family is so far removed. We live in Minnesota, USA.

   This is great. Someone should tell us, is he the very first governor inNigeria to be impeached. I am just curious. If so, there’s perhaps some hope for democracy here.
