Celtel Sierra Leone wins Best Telecommunications Company Award for 2005

The night of 25th December 2005 was a night to remember as the crème de la crème of society converged to witness, arguably, one of Sierra Leone’s most prestigious awards ceremony (The National Achievement Awards) hosted by a local philanthropic organisation – All Works of Life (AWOL). Among the twenty-seven (27) awards presented covering a range of professions and businesses was the award for Best Telecommunications Company for the year 2005. This coveted award was won by Celtel (SL) Limited, amidst thunderous applause from the crowd of over 5,000 attendees which was a clear indication of the general populace’s vote of confidence.
