The World Bank Institute, Belgian Government and partners are pleased to announce the Ideas for Action Competition.
This competition offers young professionals and students a unique opportunity to develop their leadership skills, be heard in the international scene, meet iconic leaders primarily from Africa, and network with other talented young professionals interested in contributing to economic development by integrating responsible business and good governance practices into corporate strategies and the mandates of public and international institutions across sectors. Young professionals and students aged 18 and 35 are eligible to apply.
Winners will receive an invitation to attend the following two high-level conferences:
- Strengthening Responsible Business and Governance in Africa – where they will be invited to present their winning submission and network with practitioners and leaders on the field. (www.responsiblebiz.info)
- Ethics in Business – CCS World Youth Forum at the European Parliament in Brussels, which creates an open platform for the youth to voice their message to the world’s top decision makers in today’s global economic and political environment, and to the world community at large! (www.wfeb.org/wyf)
Travel arrangements, accommodation, and conference fees will be covered by the World Bank Institute and its program partners.
Selected applicants’ submissions will also be published on the “Strengthening Responsible Business and Governance” program website.
