According to Nigeria’s Daily Sun,
J.T. Tom-West, one of Nollywood’s finest and leading lights is dead.
The Rivers State-born Tom West, who is also a director, dancer and singer, according to Daily Sun sources, died Thursday morning in an undisclosed hospital on Lagos Island, following a ghastly auto accident.
The accident reportedly happened while the still single father of one, boy and two of his colleagues were returning from a location after shooting late into the night on Tuesday.

I wrote the script to one 0f the last films he appeared in (Love in vengeance) and was looking forward to a sequeal before his untimely demise.
He can only be described as a perfect gentleman and worthy for me to call him a friend.While thanking God for the opportunity he had to leave a treasure of lasting legacies for mankind, i pray He forgive him any sins and grant him a beautiful rest

I was just watching his movie, secret intention ,when i saw the RIP JT Tom West and i was in shock and also speechless, at the same time began to share tears man, He was the best, even if not the best, he was among the top 3 i love his movies, acting, Ur presant will greatly be miss, may ur soul rest in peace, life is nothing, from dust we were made to dust we will return that scare me.may God grant you a good place to rest and leave all sorrows behind
