Life is Beautiful in Umuahia, Nigeria [opinion]

It is amazing how we tend to easily forget where we are coming from and where we are headed. Few years ago, Nigerians had to queue up to make calls to on the almighty Nitel lines that were as erratic as the British weather. The mental torture Nigerians had to endure before one could get connected was something else. When you eventually get connected, you are the mercy of Nitel’s billing system that added another cliché to the Nigerian lexicon – “crazy bills”.
