Liquid Intelligent Technologies, a business of Cassava Technologies, has launched cloud and cybersecurity services for Botswana enterprises, marking a decade of operations in the country.
At the centre of the new offering is Secure360, Liquid’s integrated security framework, designed to combine local delivery with continental-scale infrastructure and global technology partnerships. The framework is positioned as a shift from reactive breach response to proactive intelligence and protection for enterprise customers.
A decade of fibre buildout
Liquid says it has deployed over 1,174 km of fibre in Botswana during its ten years in the market. A 730 km backbone along the A1 road positions the country as a transit hub, linking networks across Zimbabwe, South Africa, Kenya, Zambia, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Sudan.

Vision 2036 hook
The launch is framed against Botswana’s Vision 2036 ambitions to expand digital services across government, financial services, telecommunications and critical infrastructure sectors. Liquid says its expanded portfolio is intended to support the country’s progress on that roadmap.
The press release does not name customer commitments, contract values, or specific cloud-region partners underpinning the Secure360 framework. Liquid’s pan-African footprint runs to a 110,000 km fibre network across 40-plus markets in Africa, the Middle East and Latin America. The company’s Cloud and cybersecurity solutions are delivered through partnerships with global vendors, which the announcement does not enumerate.
