HMD Global recently unveiled the newly launched Nokia X6 exclusively in China, and the company might be planning to release the phone in global markets in the coming months. Since its exclusive release, Nokia X6 has been garnering some serious attention from fans worldwide.
Although the company didn’t comment on the global availability during the China launch, there have been subtle hints and speculations suggesting that they are considering a global launch.
Juho Sarvikas, HMD Global’s Chief Product officer recently tweeted a poll asking if the company should bring the Nokia X6 to other markets or not. In total, 92% out of 8,527 voters voted in favour of it, a strong indication that its global release is highly anticipated. The purpose of the tweet suggests that HMD are “probably” already working on a wider launch, or at the very least, seriously considering it.
Getting a lot of traffic on this so let's ask around. Should we bring Nokia X6 to other markets too?

You would recall that Nokia released its 2018 smartphone portfolio in India and that includes the Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 plus and Nokia 6.1. However, TechRadar feels that “none of them sport a notch design, which has been a constant on majority of Android phones lately.” Nokia X6 begs to differ.
The price starts at CNY1299 (around $200 / £150 / AU$270) in China, it might not cost much when released widely.
Its basic specifications include a 5.8-inch 1080 x 2280 screen, a Snapdragon 636 chipset, a dual-lens camera with 16MP and 5MP lenses, a 3,060mAh battery, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage – though there are also slightly pricier models available with up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
Since a global release has not been officially announced, there can only be speculations for now. Let’s hope we won’t be kept waiting too long. Nonetheless, if you can’t wait at all, a number of other recent phones with fairly high-end designs and features coupled with more mid-range prices, such as the Nokia 7 Plus, OnePlus 6 and Honor 10.
