The 2026 Nigerian Peering & Interconnection Forum (ngPIF) runs from 27 to 29 October 2026 at the Lagos Marriott Hotel Ikeja in Lagos, Nigeria. Attendance is free, but registration is required.
The forum is organised by the Internet Exchange Point of Nigeria (IXPN) and the Nigerian Network Operators Group (ngNOG), and describes itself as the country’s premier internet infrastructure gathering.
Who it is for
Across the programme, the forum brings together network operators, internet service providers, cloud and content providers, data centre operators, policymakers, regulators and technical experts.
The organisers frame the agenda around practical interconnection: strengthening peering, improving the way Nigerian networks exchange traffic with one another, and keeping more of that traffic within the country.
Why it matters this year
IXPN’s Lagos fabric lists 131 connected networks, the largest published membership of any exchange in West Africa, well ahead of AMS-IX Lagos on 55 and AF-CIX Lagos on 44. The exchange also runs smaller fabrics in Abuja, Kano and Port Harcourt.
Lagos is served by Murtala Muhammed International Airport, and the organisers list Ikeja GRA hotels alongside the Marriott for delegates who book separately.
