Following yesterday’s Ghana 2008 grouping draw, Nigeria ended up in what some have referred to as the “group of death” – Group B. Also in Group B are 3 french-speaking countries in West Africa: Benin Republic, Cote d’Ivoire and Mali.
If you asked for my opinion, I’d say Nigeria might find it all that tough afterall. I would not underate Cote d’Ivoire since they were the 1st runner-up in the last African Cup of Nations (Egypt 2006). Thus, it is my opinion that Nigeria and Cote d’Ivoire will make it to the 2nd round of the tournament, from Group B.
Nigeria’s first game will be against Cote d’Ivoire on 21st January 2008 at Sekondi in the Western Region of Ghana. I hope to be there live and direct to cheer the Super Eagles of Nigeria to victory and with exclusive photos to show for it.
The 2008 African Cup of Nations, hosted by Ghana, will be the 26th edition of the African Cup of Nations, the football championship of Africa.

This has been a vey hot discuss on my forum all week. Nigeria is in no doubt big trouble. For me, i think currently Ivory coast has the strongest team in Africa.
