SMS Mac Selects TynTec For Global SMS Traffic

March 25th, 2009: London, UK: Mobile messaging operator TynTec today announces that it has been selected to provide back-end SMS capabilities to SMS Mac, an award-winning Mac/PC-to-SMS service.

Under the deal, SMS Mac will use TynTec to power the SMS sending capabilities of its Mac-based Dashboard widget, address book plug in, Vista sidebar gadget and Windows XP Yahoo! Widget.

An Apple Dashboard Widget Contest Winner, SMS Mac is an easy-to-use, downloadable PC/Mac-to-SMS service, enabling users to send SMS from their computer’s desktop.  SMS sent via the service are charged at a flat rate of €0.10 each with a €10.00 annual subscription charge for use of the software.

SMS Mac selected TynTec for its global reach into more than 430 mobile networks in 160 countries.  In addition, TynTec can offer SMS Mac’s users unparalleled reliability through its unique multiple points of deep level (SS7) mobile network access.
