Robert Sylvester Kelly, the Pied Piper of R&B has done it again! I am referring to the 18th track on his new “Double Up” album. It’s titled: “Rise Up” and dedicated to the Virginia Tech University shooting that happened on 16th April 2007.
All proceeds will go to the Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund, a fund set up to provide assistance to the families of the victims as well as grief counseling and support for others affected by the violence, according to About.com
I have been listening to the track all day today and must confess its quite inspirational.
