An online TV & Radio streaming service has been launched for South Africa. Named TV2GO, the new service allows residents of South Africa to enjoy over 150 TV and Radio channels, free-of-charge.

TV2GO is backed by a South African tech firm Infinivy SA and Israeli firm Cast-TV.

The free service features TV channels in the following categories: Entertainment, Education, Fun, Indian, Kids, Music, News, Religion, Science, Spirituality and Youth.

No smart device apps are available at this time, as the service is fully streamed through web browsers on desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones.

It would reportedly be extended to other African countries including Nigeria, Ethiopia and Kenya at a later date.
