MTN and WWF come together to protect the environment

Yaoundé 15 July 2005 – MTN Cameroon, the telecommunication company and WWF Cameroon, the conservation organisation announce the signing of a three year renewable partnership convention on environmental promotion. This convention falls in line with the activities of the MTN Foundation and aims at financing a programme dubbed “A Tree For Life”. The signing of the Convention is scheduled for Monday, 18 July 2005 at Djeuga Palace Yaounde in the presence of the representatives of the Minister of the Environment and Protection of Nature and the Minister of Forestry and Wildlife.
