MTN entered Ghana in a similar fashion following its acquisition of Investcom (elsewhile owners of Areeba Ghana). One can only wait to see the manner of competition Celtel will bring to the table since they already have a vast experience spanning several years of operating in the African mobile telecom terrain including in more complex markets like Nigeria.
Other cellular networks in Ghana include Onetouch (powered by Ghana Telecom), Kasapa and Tigo.
