WordPress 2.7 looks and feel great

I just upgraded the software running my blog to the latest which is WordPress 2.7
The new Dashboard is breath-taking and new features have been added too.

QuickPress, a new feature, allows you to quickly post from your Dashboard. Matter-of-fact, I am posting from QuickPress right now. This is the biggest leap from WordPress. There are many more features that I cannot list here. Better upgrade your software now, if your blog is powered by WordPress.

What plugins that you use did not work with WP 2.7?

2.7 blows the earlier versions away. I’m so happy for upgrading, and would encourage everyone else using WordPress to do the same!

@ Paul Oghoghorie, To add a new theme to your WordPress installation, follow these basic steps:

      1. Download the theme archive and extract the files it contains. You may need to preserve the directory structure in the archive when extracting these files. Follow the guidelines provided by your theme author.
      2. Using an FTP client to access your host web server, create a directory to contain your theme in the wp-content/themes directory provided by WordPress. For example, a theme named Test should be in wp-content/themes/test. Your theme may provide this directory as part of the archive.
      3. Upload the theme files to the new directory on your host server.
      4. Follow the instructions below for selecting the new theme.

I don’t like WordPress. They have too many strict rules. They don’t like Adsense, and they don’t like affiliate links such as the ones on Clickbank. I got banned once for promoting something that I really love because it was an affiliate program. My blog had great original contents, and the link to the affiliate program would usually be small text link down at the bottom of a post. Since then, I started using Blogger and loved it. They don’t have as much rules as WordPress. 😥
