Africa Next Knowledge Brokerage and Interaction (ANKBI), the successor
organization to the Technology Assessment Project (TAP),
and the Center for Information and Communication Technology of the
Technical University of DenmarK, in association with the Institute for
Democratic Governance, MMRS Ogilvy and DataCenta Ltd, would organize
the Jubilee
Year edition of the Mobile Ghana conference on November 14, 2007. The
conference would run, principally, on two tracks: urban-rural
differences in access and utilization of mobile telephony and the
promise of a data-centric mobile telephony in Ghana. The conference
would also serve as part of the final processes of validating the major
research stream of the Technology Assessment Project on the Empirics of
Universal Access for Evidence-Based policy in Ghana which was launched
at Abura Dunkwa on November 4, 2004, at
BusyInternet, Accra, on November 5, 2004.
