MTN Group records over 13 million subscribers

MTN Group, Africa’s leading cellular provider in terms of revenue and profit, has announed that it recorded 13,380,000 subscribers on its networks across Africa as at 31 December 2004. This is a growth of 21.1% since 30 September 2004 and an increase of 40.2% from an opening base of 9,543,000 subscribers recorded at 1 April 2004.
