Life, the sum total of human existence
Is whatever you make it
Life is beautiful; Life is good
Life is thrilling; Life is exciting
Fooling myself, I am not
Life is not a bed of roses but
The right attitude can see us through
The rough edges of life not withstanding,
I choose to believe: Life is Beautiful
And a Beautiful Life will I live.

Nice poem
BABA NIYO!
What’s good? I gbadun (enjoyed) this post, oh!
But I must hold your feet to the fire. Why is your blog telling me, at the end of the post: “No related posts”???
LOL! 😀 😀
Obviously we need to see more of such writing from you, my friend.
Thanks for the positive start to a positive week, and a positive year.
The glass is never completely full or empty. How we interpret that determines how much (or little) we enjoy this thing called life.
May God give us the humility and generosity to share when our cup is almost full… and give us the faith, hope, endurance, and serenity, to live fully even when our cup is almost empty.
NOW LET’S GET OUT THERE AND MAKE TODAY BEAUTIFUL FOR SOMEONE!
Just like Officer Oluniyi just did for us.
LOL!
Laters…
“No related posts” is not part of the post. I have spaced it out.
Ha ha – no shaking, no shaking.
I was just teasing… referring to the fact that the plugin / algorithm didn’t find any other posts of you waxing poetic like this.
Basically, your fans (and your blog plug-in) want more of Oluniyi Shakespeare! 😀
Have a great evening, paddy mi.
Nothing better to start year which we want pregant with many good happening for Africa and for self than this poem in celebration of life itself.
Lovely words. The right attitude will see us through. That is my mantra this year.
Life is beautiful indeed! Nice words of inspiration!
“You’re blessed
when you’re at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule.
“You’re blessed
when you feel you’ve lost what is most dear to you. Only then can you be embraced by the One most dear to you.
“You’re blessed
when you’re content with just who you are—no more, no less. That’s the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can’t be bought.
“You’re blessed
when you’ve worked up a good appetite for God. He’s food and drink in the best meal you’ll ever eat.
“You’re blessed
when you care. At the moment of being ‘carefull,’ you find yourselves cared for.
“You’re blessed
when you get your inside world—your mind and heart—put right. Then you can see God in the outside world.
“You’re blessed
when you can show people how to cooperate instead of compete or fight. That’s when you discover who you really are, and your place in God’s family.
“You’re blessed
when your commitment to God provokes persecution. The persecution drives you even deeper into God’s kingdom.
Agreed. With God life is beautiful indeed
