Celtel Kenya unveils Celtel Access – Mobile Data over GPRS and EDGE technology

All Celtel Kenya customers will now be able to browse the internet via their mobile phones and computers, thanks to Celtel Access, a new service launched today.

  1. Good move by Celtel Kenya. Now I am wondering if Celtel will implement EDGE in Nigeria. There was a rumour recently that GloMobile was setting up EDGE on its network. Any feelers on that either?

  2. how do i get my pc connected to the internet via a celtel line and what hardware do i require for this.how do i subscribe to this service,yes,my phone has a gprs facility,so what are the extra components i must have,and what are their price tags in the market
